About the PMP

What the PMP is and why it matters

The PMP is the most widely held project management credential. It certifies that you have led projects, that you know the current exam content outline across predictive, agile and hybrid ways of working, and that you can apply that judgement to the scenarios the exam describes.

Employers read it as shorthand for experience and a shared vocabulary, which is why it appears in job descriptions across industries in the United States and Canada. PMP-certified project professionals in the United States earn a median salary of $135,000.

What PMP candidates say

“The timed simulations felt exactly like test day. By my fourth full exam I was consistently above target and passed with Above Target in all three domains.”
