Delete your account
How to delete your CareerFocusArea account and what happens to your data.
In the mobile app
Open the Profile tab, choose Your data, then Delete my account. Confirm with your password, or type DELETE if you sign in with Google, LinkedIn or Apple.
In the web app
Sign in at app.careerfocusarea.com, open Settings, choose Your data, then Delete my account and confirm.
By email
If you can no longer sign in, email support@careerfocusarea.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We reply within one business day.
What happens next
Your account closes at once and you are signed out on every device. For 30 days you can ask us to reopen it.
After 30 days we permanently remove your name, email address, password, profile photo, linked sign-in accounts, exam dates, bookmarks, support messages and the text of your forum posts.
What we keep
Payment and order records are kept as tax and accounting law requires, no longer linked to your name or email. Practice results stay, no longer linked to you, and count only toward anonymous question statistics.
Deleting your account does not refund paid access. To ask for a refund, see the refund policy.
