  1. W1

    Week 1

    People: leading the team

The mindset behind every People question, then the situations the exam returns to: conflict, empowerment, stakeholders and virtual teams.

    • How the exam thinks: servant leadership and the answer the exam always prefers
    • Building and developing the team: ground rules, training, recognition and psychological safety
    • Conflict: sources, the resolution styles and which one the situation calls for
    • Empowering the team: decision rights, delegation and removing impediments
    • Stakeholders: identification, engagement levels and the communications that move them
    • Virtual teams, agreements and emotional intelligence in the situational questions
    Module test
Module test: 20-question People quiz on the simulator, 80 seconds a question (pass mark 70%)
    You build
Your exam plan: date, weekly hours, a baseline full-length score and the two domains to work first
  2. W2

    Week 2

    Process: predictive delivery

Integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk and procurement, with the handful of calculations that still appear.

    • Integration: the project charter, the plan and the change-control reflex
    • Scope and requirements: the WBS, acceptance criteria and controlling scope creep
    • Schedule: critical path, float, crashing and fast-tracking
    • Cost: earned value from the ground up, EAC, TCPI and what the numbers tell the sponsor
    • Quality and risk: prevention over inspection, risk responses and reserves
    • Procurement and closing: contract types, claims and lessons learned
    Module test
Module test: 30-question Process quiz, timed (pass mark 70%)
    You build
A one-page formula and process sheet in your own words, reviewed by your mentor
  3. W3

    Week 3

Process: agile and hybrid, and Business Environment

Half the exam is agile or hybrid. Ceremonies, roles, artefacts, tailoring, and the Business Environment questions on value and compliance.

    • Scrum and Kanban: roles, events, artefacts and what the exam expects from each
    • Backlogs, estimation, velocity and burndown charts
    • Hybrid delivery: tailoring the approach and spotting a hybrid question
    • Agile leadership: the coach, the servant leader and the self-organising team
    • Business Environment: compliance, benefits realisation and organisational change
    • Full-length mock exam one under exam conditions
    Module test
Module test: 30-question mixed quiz on agile, hybrid and Business Environment (pass mark 70%)
    You build
Mock exam one, reviewed answer by answer with your mentor and turned into a plan for week four
  4. W4

    Week 4

The full exam and the application

Pacing 180 questions, breaks, flagging and the second full mock. Then the application, the booking and the last two weeks before the real thing.

    • Pacing 180 questions in 240 minutes and using the two breaks
    • Flag, skip and return: reading the readiness score and closing the last gap
    • Question types: multiple response, matching, hotspot and fill-in-the-blank
    • The application: documenting experience hours and passing an audit
    • Exam day: booking, testing-centre and online rules, what to do the week before
    • Full-length mock exam two and the final review
    Module test
Final exam: a full 180-question, 240-minute simulation scored by domain (target band required)
    You build
Your completed exam file: the plan, the formula sheet, two reviewed mocks, the submitted application and a booked date
